Shane Kyhl for Richland County Sheriff

My name is Shane Kyhl, and I am running for the Republican Nomination of Richland County Sheriff. I am running for Sheriff because I want to make a difference for our community. I have built a deep understanding of Richland County, our challenges, and opportunities to approve.

I am a strong leader and effective communicator with over twenty years’ experience, overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives. I firmly believe that I can, make changes to increase the effectiveness of the Richland County Sheriff’s Office. I have the perseverance to see things through and am well-versed in managing multiple concurrent operations. I would be able to facilitate key process improvements. I was born in Billings, Montana, grew up in Spokane, Washington, and graduated from college in 2010, receiving a Criminal Justice Degree.

I am blessed to be married to my wife Tammy, with whom I have shared an incredible 17 years. We have four beautiful children Noah, Abby, Tori, and Matt. The other loved members of our family are our cat Licorice, two fish called Ninja, Elly, and our German Shepard named Jayda.

I cherish the great outdoors in Eastern Montana! You can find me catching fish off the Yellowstone River at Seven Sisters, Richland Park, or the Sidney Bridge. I value going out with my friends and oldest son Noah during hunting season. We hunt for Mule Deer in Lambert, Montana.

Richland County residents, I ask for your vote Tuesday, June 7, 2022. A vote for the Republican Nomination to run for Sheriff in the general election. A vote for Kyhl is a vote for rebuilding trust within the community. By promoting positive enforcement activities. By having deputies exit their vehicles to build relationships with citizens.
